Meet the Team
Hi, I’m Kate—a therapist, artist, and passionate advocate for mental health. Originally from Texas, I’ve been proud to call Washington state home for almost nine years. So, if you catch a hint of twang or hear me say “y’all,” now you know why!
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me diving into a Dungeons & Dragons campaign with friends, hiking the beautiful PNW trails, watching Critical Role, or savoring anything peanut butter and chocolate.
Listening, exploring, and connecting with others has always been at the core of who I am. I’m captivated by the many ways a soul can speak—through words, art, and beyond. I believe everyone deserves a space to feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and share their unique story.

Pax is a spirited five-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and the officially unofficial therapy dog of Kate’s counseling practice. Whether lounging on the office floor or lending his signature emotional support groans to the conversation, Pax is always ready to provide comfort to those who need it most. When he’s off duty, you’ll find him engaging in high-stakes games of tag with his brother, Neville the cat, chasing squirrels at the dog park, or snuggling up with his beloved giant monkey stuffie. Pax takes his role seriously—but not too seriously.
