Hello! My name is Kate. I’m a therapist and artist. My passions include mental health advocacy, creating visual art, and sitting with brave resilient souls. I’m originally from Texas, but I have called Washington state home for almost eight years. If you hear a slight twang or an occasional “y’all,” now you know why!

When I’m not working with clients I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends, hiking, watching Critical Role or Ted Lasso, and eating peanut butter chocolate anything.

I’ve always been a listener, explorer, and deep diver when it comes to being with folks and sitting with story. I love how someone’s soul can speak in so many different ways. I firmly believe we all deserve a space where we can share what’s happening in our lives and have someone bear witness to what we’ve experienced.

Pax is a spirited five-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and the officially unofficial therapy dog of Kate’s counseling practice. Whether lounging on the office floor or lending his signature emotional support groans to the conversation, Pax is always ready to provide comfort to those who need it most. When he’s off duty, you’ll find him engaging in high-stakes games of tag with his feline brother, Neville, chasing dreams at the dog park, or snuggling up with his beloved giant monkey stuffie. Pax takes his role seriously—but not too seriously.
